Parsley Green Beans

Delicious take on plain ol' green beans!

Ingredients

  • Blanched green beans (2-3 handfuls = 1 serving)
  • ½ tbsp butter
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • 1 minced clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Tools

  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Spatula
  • Small frying pan
  • Strainer (to blank green beans)

Step-by-Step

  • Mince clove of garlic.
  • Pull parsley leaves from sprigs (no stems!) then finely chop.
  • Heat butter in frying pan.
  • Add minced garlic.
  • Add in blanched green beans. Remember you’re just warming up the beans, they’re already blanched!
  • Once mixed and beans are coated in butter, squeeze in juice from ½ lemon.
  • Throw them on a plate after another minute on stove.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley.
